At OneTap, we are committed to continuously enhancing OneTap to meet the evolving needs of our users. We are thrilled to announce the launch of our latest update to KIOSK, the Group Check-In feature, designed to streamline attendance management for various use cases, including classrooms, events, and conferences.

What is Group Check-In?

Group Check-In is a new functionality integrated into our iPad self-check-in KIOSK mode, available through our iOS App. This feature empowers users to efficiently manage the attendance of multiple individuals at once, making the process smoother and more time-effective.

Key Benefits:

  • Efficiency: Group Check-In significantly reduces the time and effort required to register multiple attendees, especially in scenarios such as classroom sessions or large-scale events.

  • Improved User Experience: By simplifying the check-in process, OneTap enhances the overall user experience for both administrators and attendees, fostering a seamless interaction.

  • Flexibility: Whether managing a team meeting, seminar, or social gathering, Group Check-In adapts to various settings and scales effortlessly.

How to Enable Group Check-In:

Enabling Group Check-In is straightforward:

  1. Ensure your OneTap iOS App is updated to the latest version. Download from the App Store - https://apps.apple.com/in/app/onetap-check-in/id1280873534

  2. Access the app settings and navigate to the KIOSK mode preferences.

  3. Toggle the Group Check-In option to activate the feature.

How Does it Work?

Upon enabling Group Check-In mode in the app settings, users will notice a new option alongside the traditional check-in button: the "Add" button. This addition allows for the seamless addition of multiple individuals to the attendance list.

  1. Initiating Group Check-In: When a visitor arrives, the user operating the iPad KIOSK can opt to check in a group rather than individual attendees. They simply tap on the "Add" button to begin.

  2. Adding Attendees: Once the "Add" button is selected, users can input the details of additional individuals joining the group. This process can be repeated until all attendees are accounted for.

  3. Continuing Check-In: After all group members are added, users can proceed by tapping the "Continue" button, which finalizes the check-in process as usual.
