How to add check-out surveys | check-out methods

Ask people to fill out survey questions when they check-out on a specific list.

You asked for it, and we're delivering.

Now, you can finally add check-out surveys to your check-in flow.

Benefits

You can set up surveys from the iOS app or on the web dashboard.


You can choose "Signature" and "Photo" as a check-in method; since both these options are straightforward, we'll only discuss check-out surveys in this article.

Set up check-out surveys on the web dashboard.

  1. Login to your account on the Admin Dashboard - https://dashboard.onetapcheckin.com

  2. Go inside the list settings page by clicking on the three dots next to the list.

  3. Inside the list settings page, select the "Survey" check-out method.

  4. Below the selection, a "Survey Builder" button will appear.

  5. Add a new question by clicking the "Add new" button on this page.

  6. Delete questions by clicking on the red trash button next to a question.

  7. Save the survey questions on the page by clicking the green "Save" button.

1. You can set up a survey for your members when you first create a list.

2. Choose "List Actions" -> "List Details" page

3. You should now be able to select check-in and check-out methods

Surveys - How to add a dynamic question?

With dynamic questions, you can add a profile's primary (name, email, phone, address) or custom field information into the question.

How to create a dynamic question -

  1. Tap/click on a list, then open the survey builder screen.

  2. Type in the question and enter the magic "[" character to see the dropdown menu.

  3. Select a primary or custom field from the dropdown.

  4. Hit create.

  5. Proceed to check in, and you will see the survey.

The check-in details page shows the client ID details.
