Before you delete profiles
Deleting a profile permanently removes that person’s record (name, contact info, custom fields) from your account.
Once deleted, you cannot recover their attendance history tied to that profile, so consider exporting reports first if you need a record.
Example: At the end of a semester or training program, export attendance, then delete profiles you will never use again.
Delete a single profile from the Dashboard
Use this when you only need to clean up one person (for example, a duplicate record).
Sign in to your OneTap Dashboard.
Go to Profiles from the Top navigation.
Search for the profile you want to delete (by name, email, or phone).
Right-click the profile to open the dropdown options.
Click the Delete Profiles Option.
Choose Delete profile.
Confirm the deletion in the pop-up
After this, the profile and its associated data are permanently removed from your Profiles list.
Delete all profiles in your account
If you want to clear your entire profile database, use a bulk “delete all”.
Go to Profiles from the left navigation.
Search for the profile you want to delete (by name, email, or ID).
Right-click on the profile to open the dropdown options.
Select the delete Profile option.
Click on Delete all profiles.
Best practices and safety tips
Always export attendance and profile data before running large deletions, especially if you need proof for audits or compliance.
Prefer Remove from list when you simply don’t want someone tied to a specific event or class, but may need their data later.
