You may have noticed a message in your dashboard that says "Looks like you're on our legacy plan." This article explains exactly what that means, what's included in your plan, and what to expect going forward.
What is a legacy plan?
When OneTap first launched, we offered a set of pricing plans to our earliest customers. Over the years, we've invested heavily in building new features, improving reliability, and expanding support, and we recently introduced updated pricing to reflect that growth.
If you signed up before this pricing change, you're on what we call a legacy plan. This simply means you're still on the original pricing and feature set you signed up with.
The short version: nothing changes for you. Your pricing stays exactly the same. Your features stay exactly the same. You don't need to do anything.
Your pricing is locked in
As a legacy plan customer, you're grandfathered into your original pricing. This means you'll never be automatically moved to new pricing, and your rate is locked in for as long as you keep your active subscription.
You can always view your exact current rate by going to Dashboard β Settings β Billing. Your invoice and renewal amount will always reflect your original locked-in price.
Your legacy rate is honored indefinitely - there's no expiration date on it. The only way your pricing changes is if you choose to upgrade to a new plan.

What happens if I want to upgrade?
You're always free to explore our current plans if your needs have grown. However, there's one important thing to know before making any changes:
Upgrading moves you to current pricing permanently. If you switch to a new plan, your legacy pricing will no longer apply. You won't be able to return to your legacy rate.

Frequently asked questions
Will my price ever go up on my legacy plan?
No. As long as you stay on your current plan without upgrading or canceling, your price stays exactly the same - indefinitely. We will never automatically move you to new pricing.
Do I lose any features on my legacy plan?
No. Every feature that was part of your plan when you signed up remains fully active. We have not removed or disabled any legacy plan features.
Can I add more profiles or collaborators without upgrading?
Profile and collaborator limits are set by your current plan tier. If you need more capacity, upgrading to a new plan is the only option, but keep in mind this will move you off legacy pricing permanently.
What happens if I cancel and later resubscribe?
If you cancel your subscription, your legacy pricing will no longer be available when you return. Resubscribing would put you on our current plans at current pricing. We recommend reaching out to our team before canceling, we may be able to help.
I'm on an annual plan. Does legacy pricing still apply?
Yes. Legacy pricing applies equally to both monthly and annual subscribers. Your annual renewal will continue at your original locked-in rate.
I'm on the Individual (free) plan. Does this affect me?
The Individual free plan is unchanged and will remain free. The "legacy plan" notice mainly applies to paid customers - either way, nothing changes for you.
Why does my dashboard show "legacy plan" if everything is the same?
The notification is simply there to keep you informed, and not to pressure you into changing anything. Think of it as a transparent heads-up that new pricing exists for new customers, while you remain protected at your original rate.
Can I switch from monthly to annual billing on my legacy plan?
Switching billing cycles on a legacy plan may affect your rate. Please reach out to our support team before making any billing changes so we can walk you through your options safely.
