How to Create Punch Pass

The Punch Pass feature allows you to manage limited-entry access for events, classes, or recurring activities.

Overview

The Punch Pass feature in OneTap allows you to assign a specific number of visits or Check-ins to a profile. It’s perfect for managing limited or prepaid access, such as class, gyms, or recurring activities. Follow this guide to set up, assign, and track Punch Passes for your users.

Benefits of the Punch Pass Feature

  • Easily track limited-use access for members or visitors.

  • Define custom limits and expiry dates for each pass.

  • Monitor check-ins and ensure that members only use what’s allotted to them.

How to Set Up a Punch Pass

1. Go to the Profile Tab

  • Log in to OneTap and navigate to the Profiles tab on the main screen.

2. Select a Profile

  • Choose the specific profile for which you want to create a punch pass by clicking on their name.

3. Scroll to "Create Punch Pass"

  • Scroll down in the profile details page until you find the Create Punch Pass option and click on it.

Fill Out the Punch Pass Details

A form will appear with several fields to customize your punch pass:

  • Pass Name (Optional): Enter a name for the punch pass to make it easily identifiable.

  • Start Date (Required): Choose the date when the punch pass should become active.

  • Expiry Date (Optional): Set an expiration date if desired, or leave blank if the pass doesn’t expire.

  • Set Limit: Enter the number of uses or check-ins allowed for this pass.

Once you’ve completed these fields, click Create to assign the punch pass to the profile.

Q: Can I assign multiple Punch Passes to a single profile?

A: No, a user can have only 1 active pass.

Q: Can I extend or modify an existing Punch Pass?

A: Currently, you can only disable or delete the pass for a user but we will be adding more options.
